Rev. Linda E. Holmes founded The Maine Beacon Center for Spiritual Living in June of 2004 after graduating with a master's degree in higher consciousness studies in May of that same

year from the Denver campus of Holmes Institute, the ministerial school of United Centers for

Spiritual Living. She is a Maine native who received her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Maine and taught in public schools for 5 years before traveling around the country with her partner Bill for his work.

Although the founder of Religious Science and the Science of Mind Dr. Ernest Holmes was born and raised in Maine, Rev. Linda is not related to him, though she teasingly loves to remind people, "We're all one."

She lives in Gorham with her partner Bill and their Maine Coon kitten, Matie. They have 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.

Rev.
